Disney World Autograph Books
Meeting the characters in Disney World is more important to some young children, than the theme park attractions. Children generally love collecting autographs from the characters, and the Disney World autograph books make a great souvenir for them to take home. Also, take photos as you meet and greet the characters. Some of my favorite vacation moments were watching my son’s face as he saw all of his favorite Disney Characters in real life. Check your times guide for specific locations and times of your favorite characters.
Did you know you can enjoy a magical meal with some of your favorite characters? Most character meals are buffet service, and characters will visit each table at least once. I highly recommend Advance Reservations for character meals to avoid disappointment. Table service restaurants, character breakfasts, and dinner shows take advance dining reservations; call 407-WDW-DINE.
The Disney World autograph books that I recommend are listed below. The Guide to the Magic Walt Disney World Autograph & Sticker Book not only lets you collect autographs and pictures from your favorite characters, but there is also a place to collect Passport stamps at all of the countries in Epcot’s world showcase.
Disney World MNSSHP Parade
Here is a short video of Disney World MNSSHP parade. I think I had the song in my head for 3 days. I do not have it on video, but at the end you hear us laughing. The queen from Alice in Wonderland came right up in my son’s face. It freaked him out. Enjoy & Boo to you!!

Disney’s Toy Story Mania Orlando Florida
When we went to Walt Disney World October 8 – 13th, we were very excited about the addition of Disney’s Toy Story Mania Orlando Florida and getting to ride it for the first time. I must admit that I really got attached to the attraction. I guess the competitor in me came out and I could have just continued to ride it to see how high of a score that I could get. In the three times that I rode, I never did get over 100,000, so I needed a lot of practice (the highest score for the day was over 300,000).
On our first day, we went to Epcot and were finished about 3 pm with everything that we wanted to see. We had rode Soarin twice and the last time was able to sit 1st row center, so I was satisfied and ready to go. We decided to take the boat ride over to Hollywood Studios and get in a few attractions. We rode Star Tours and then made the mistake of going walk by Toy Story Mania. Well there was a 90 minute wait and no more Fast Passes (these are gone in the first 3 hours).
Well my son does not understand the meaning of a 90 minute wait and we had been talking about this attraction a lot, so we ended up in the line. I am a follower of Tour Guide Mike and subscribe to his service every time that we travel to Disney and I am proud to say that we have never waited more than 30 minutes for an attraction, until now. We ended up in line next to some great folks from Canada and that made our time go by faster. Our son and their son became good buddies and even rode together.
We went back to Hollywood Studios on our full day and I took my time to get the stroller and sent my husband running at rope drop to get Fast Passes. Even though he was pretty far up, he got a return time of 10:10. We went back and rode at 10:10 and only had a 15 minute wait. We were able to get Fast Passes again when we got off the ride. The return times for these were 4:30.
The cast member said that the Fast Passes were usually out by 11:30, so if you are planning on riding Disney’s Toy Story Mania Orlando Florida on your next visit, get your Fast Passes first thing in the morning. The stand by line for that day was up to 120 minutes (no way).

Headless Horseman
For the first time, we attended Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and we had a blast. One of the highlights was watching the headless horseman ride down Main Street. See the video below, it is pretty cool.

Port of Orleans Riverside
We are back from our trip and we had a blast. We stayed this time at Port of Orleans Riverside and I have to say that I was very pleased. The room was always very clean. I found that it was roomier than the value resorts and I loved having a fridge and a curtain for the bathroom (and 2 sinks was also very nice).
We had a little bit of a walk up to the front, but it was so beautiful I did not mind it. We never had a long wait for the bus, at the resort or at the parks. The food court seemed almost empty in the morning compared to what I am use to at the value resorts.
I think this resort has really won me over and we will be staying there from now on.

Tutto Italia Epcot
Well we are heading out in 6 days and I cannot wait. We have reservations at one of my favorite restaurants in Epcot, Tutto Italia Ristorante. It is located in the back left corner of the Italy pavilion.
Not only is the food great, but it is one of the most beautiful restaurants in the World showcase. The menu includes Italian specialty appetizers, soups, mozzarella and tomato salad, pasta varieties, pork loin, fish filet, tiramisu, cannoli, and a variety of beverages. It also has a good kids menu that includes pizza and spaghetti.
The restaurant is only temporary and will soon under go a complete refurbishment and will reopen under a new name.
